Learning Teams and how they drive safety improvements.

Learning Teams are effective in many workplaces because of their flexibility and their ability to generate bespoke reflective business directed solutions. They provide an ecosystem that allows the seeking out and evaluation of many viewpoints and perspectives by defining an issue in a group setting. The many viewpoints that emerge from a Learning Teams event shows that no single individual possesses all of the information and knowledge variables required to tackle difficult challenges.

Learning Teams are a supported engagement (by a facilitator) for employees in order to comprehend and then learn from the opportunities offered by effective work on a daily basis. Learning Teams enable people to learn as well as the company to learn by gathering business intelligence to support effective day-to-day operations in the areas of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
